Himalayan salt bathing is a powerful yet wonderfully natural detoxification and relaxation tool. There are points that should be noted, unless you are already familiar with its potential and potency.

Leave the door or a window slightly open. Take in and drink water while soaking, you must keep hydrated. It may make your heart speed up as it activates your metabolism and circulation and may also make you light-headed dependent on the quantity of salt used and the temperature of the water.  Do not use hotter water than directed, unless you are a regular user.   Ensure you are able to rest for at least 30 minutes post-soak or better still go straight to bed. It can make you feel tired and or a little weak.  To achieve a powerful detox, no less than 1Kg of Himalayan salt should be added to a regular sized bath.  You should remain in the water for a minimum of 30 minutes, ideally longer.  The longer you soak the better the results.   Do not rinse, moisturise and then rest.  The salt may colour the bath, this is common and is easily removed with regular cleaning products. Not all the salt will dissolve, this is also quite common.
